What a fantastic traditional pub. Great selection of beers and ciders. Very welcoming staff, a lovely old building, pool table, plenty of outdoor seating and the best priced in all of Chippenham. Would highly recommend popping in for a pint or two and some delicious food. Just a note, I've heard karioke nights can get lively..

After returning from our gig at the Canteen in Bristol we decided to stop off in Chippenham for a bite to eat. It was just our luck that we came across the Pack Horse a delightful little pub which met our needs perfectly. Jo and Tony were incredibly kind and served us up with 4 very hearty meals and even allowed us to use the jukebox for free. With four happy bellies full of scampis, this ideal pit stop left us feeling fully recharged for our show tonight at the Victoria in Dalston at 9:30pm.

Great proper pub. Chap in the garden doing Elvis impression which I didn't expect on a Sunday afternoon. Really friendly staff and a good selection of drinks. Everyone social distancing so a fantastic session.
